  • Focal neuropathy: The Neuropathy limited to a single nerve or a group of nerves, or one area of the body.

What causes neuropathy?
Some of the known causes of Neuropathy are Diabetes, Deficiency of Vitamin B, Autoimmune diseases, Sexually transmitted diseases, alcohol, inherited disorders, abnormal protein fiber deposition in the body, Uremia, toxins, Drugs or medication, trauma or injury, tumors and much more.

  • One of the symptoms of Peripheral Neuropathy is loss of feeling or numbness that begins in the feet and progresses towards the center of the body. Another known symptom is Extreme sensitivity to touch.
  • Damage to the motor nerves may result in weakness, loss of reflexes, loss of muscle mass, cramping, and loss of agility.
  • Autonomic neuropathy symptoms include Nausea, vomiting, abdominal bloating especially after food, impotence, dizziness, constipation or diarrhea, blurred vision, health intolerance or difficulty to sweat, Hypoglycemia, difficulty in urinating, etc.
